Lolo is a 31 years old visual artist, illustrator,musician from South Africa

She's well known through the industry as one of the most influential contemporary African photographer of our time

Way before the birth of the Sartorialist blog (by the way love that blog) she was already in 2003 shooting stylish and regular people in the streets of Jo Burg
Her work took her to Sweden this year where she has been chosen as one of the participants of an expo on African visual artists, but she's also been in Bamako where she was nominated at the Bamako 7th Photography Encounter,she's done residence in England, Island de la Reunion,received in 2008 the Standard Bank Young Artist Award among many other acolades

I personally enjoy looking at her work, love that she captures life of her people and immortalize it through her pictures..
