Christian Graciel left his home country of Cameroun as a dancer within the National Dance Company of Douala. Today he's an acclaimed jewellry and bag designer .He studied his craft in Paris and worked within the industry for 10 years before launching his line.
He found part of his inspiration in Indonesia where he resided and worked with a family of Bugis fishermen. Shell and wood are the main ingredients of his artistic sauce, you'll find rings, bracelets, belts, bags made of shells, mother pearl,teak burl, ebony, rose wood , palm tree..ect
I kept picturing this African brotha with his dreads on the beach somewhere in Indonesia following his passion and coming up with beautiful pieces in which first of all he had to believe..I find that facinating.
