FABULAFRICANA WHAT ABOUT SOME GOOD OLD BUTTERMILK CORNBREAD?

Mmm...some good old cornbread sounds really good to me right now, so I figured how abt learning how to make them with y'all:)

Ingredients:
  • 1 Cup of flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup of cornmeal
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1/4 of butter
  • 1 1/2 cup of milk
Fabulafricana ready set go:
  • preheat your oven to 375 degrees F and while you do that grease your pan
  • melt your butter in the skillet when that's done mix it with the sugar and the eggs and the baking soda. Add to it the cornmeal, the flour the salt
  • Very simply put this mixture into the oven for 30-40 minutes

I love the thought of anything buttermilk! It sounds so warming & homely. I'm definitely trying out that recipe, thanks marie!
