It was about time!!
Im so happy to see a "french "(let's say arabic) movie about the "pieds-noir" the people from North Africa (algerie, marocco, tunisie) from the former french colonies..the people who gave their lives away to save & to fight for the Allmighty FRANCE..
This movie was directed by Rachid Bouchareb....it's about 4 men ..4 # reasons..
BUT 1 common sense of courage and of purpose...played by4 Arabic personalities such as Jamel Debbouze , Sami Bouajila...who find themselves fighting against the Germans in Alsace
It was presented @ the Cannes Festival 2006 and was released nationally in france on sept' 27th...
